Pilot Watch by Joost Van Rossum, the Netherlands

Received the watch today. I'm absolutely delighted by it! It's a beautiful watch.  Thanks again!

Goggles by Henry Sledge

I got the AN-6530s yesterday and I am very pleased with them. I do have a  question - if the strap were to ever wear out and/or break could I get a replacement strap from you guys? I don't anticipate that happening but if it does I want to what the options are. The strap on mine shows a little wear but no big deal. They are nice looking and I am very pleased. Thanks for your help.

Crush Cap by Colin James

I just received the crush cap and can't believe the quality. US Authentic did a fantastic job! It has to be the absolutely best crush cap I've ever seen on the repro market. The 7 was perfect, I was scared that it might be too big, like some companies produce. Thank you so much!

My new jacket arrived today and I wanted to express my thanks to you.  I knew the quality would be outstanding as the two previous jackets I looked at were exceptional.   However, I was a little apprehensive about the custom size because I have very little confidence in my ability to measure myself
or to imagine how much material needed to be taken out of the jacket.
Well, the fit is simply excellent.  (Even my wife thinks so.)  The length is right on the money and the taper from back to waist is equally great.
Thanks for your help and input. All this in only 3 business days.  Well done! Thank you once again.  You sincerely deserve the testimonial.

By B. M. O'Connell

The jacket came today and I can't thank you enough for the work that went into it. Its everything advertised and much more. I'm really grateful for the research that went into the squadron patch. I know that this could not have been easy to locate.  Amazing.
Thanks again for a remarkable piece of craftsmanship. Its wonderful to know that this quality is flourishing in your business and I hope that many more hear about your work.
Good luck in all of your future endeavors - you deserve every success!

I received your catalog in the mail a few days ago. I'm quite impressed by what you offer. The attention to detail looks very good and the prices are excellent. I have a few suggestions to offer. You might want to consider adding a silk screened or iron-on color Army Air Forces emblem to the left shoulder of your A2 jackets as an option. Many of the original jackets had a water decal of this emblem in this position and most of the high quality reproduction A2 jacket makers like Eastman and McCoy Sportswear offer this feature as an option. It would also be nice if you could offer customized proper style leather name tags for your A2 (Army style thin brown leather strip with embossed name) jacket and G1 (Navy style rectangular brown leather with foil embossed wings and name) jacket. Any chance you could add an authentic B3 sheepskin jacket to your product line at a good price? When I say authentic, I mean with the proper single patch pocket and all the other proper details with none of the extra 'frills' (extra pockets and things) that other US made (like Avirex) B3s have. How about adding a B1 cap to your line? To the best of my knowledge, nobody in the USA offers a B1 cap. I have seen them advertised in Japanese magazines but never over here. The B1 cap is similar in design to the B2 cap that you offer except that it was made out of cotton fabric. It was the Army Air Forces standard summer flying cap. Nobody over here in the USA offers accurate reproductions of the WW2 vintage B15 and B10 aviators jackets. These were made of a cotton fabric shell with an 'alpaca' (artificial fiber that resembled alpaca wool) lining. How about it? Once again, I have seen these things advertised in Japanese magazines (like Combat magazine) at very reasonable prices but nobody over here carries them. The last thing on my list are boots. Nobody makes a decent sheepskin lined flying boot. Since many US aviators wore the English 1936 or 1941 pattern shearling flying boot, these would be nice to see. It would also be nice to see replicas of the US A6 type though the British boots would probably be easier to manufacture and more stylish to wear.

A-1 By John T. Nichols

Received the A-1 jacket yesterday. Outstanding in every respect. Gen. Stilwell would be proud.

A-1 By Troy Hoehne

Received my A-1 in record time and can confirm that it is everything it was advertised to be.  Pity the army isn't bright enough to still issue it.

A-1 By Brendan Mills

I received my A-1 yesterday I was amazed at the jackets quality . I ordered the goatskin version and was  very happy with the thickness and texture of the leather.
This is an outstanding reproduction of a transition era flight jacket right down to the button loop on the wool collar.
I was also very please with the help U S Authentic Representative gave me over the phone and the internet. my next Jacket will be a sheepskin B-3 . or may be an RAF Ir*** Jacket !

A-1 By Chris Begley

I recently ordered a horsehide A-1 jacket from you, and wanted to write and comment on the jacket and the customer service.

First, the jacket -- it's great. I am an archaeologist, and I use the jacket to work in, so it takes a lot of abuse -- walking through briars in the woods, a lot of dirt and mud, and a lot of wear from carrying equipment, packs, etc - similar abuse as if worn while working construction. The horsehide is tough as nails, and while stiff for the first few weeks, it loosens up where you move, but stays tough and very resistant to scuffs, scratches, etc.

I would advise potential customer to order your an A-1 in your normal suit jacket size or a size smaller if you are of athletic build, because the jacket seems to be a little roomy - perfect for use at work.

As much as I like the jacket, the customer service is even better. I had to return a size 44 for a 42, and Mr. Dover took care of everything with great courtesy and enthusiasm, even expediting the shipment of the second, smaller jacket before the first jacket had been returned to him -- he knows how to treat a customer. You truly can order from US Authentic with no-risk -- that's why I'm ordering again from them. That kind of service is as important to me as the jacket.

About the Web site by Mike Sanderson

Very nice Website. The quality appears to be exceptional. (I'll find out soon.) The website is user friendly and very comprehensive. It's nice to not have to call in order to find out details.

B-15 by Lt Col Paul R Jones

I recently received the reproduction Korean War era B-15 with detachable mouton fur collar. It is great, just like the other jackets and apparel I've purchased from US Authentic.
One suggestion: add a button hole to the top center of the fabric collar and add a button to the top center of the mouton. This will keep the mouton from flying away from the top of the neck when attached to the jacket.
I am deploying to the Middle East in the near future. I've decided to wear the B-15 as its fiber filled batting makes it just as warm as the A-2, and it is lighter weight, making it easier to carry and store.  Do you make a cloth or silk Desert Storm type blood chit? I have your leather blood chit, but it would not look right sewn on a fabric jacket. and would like to have a blood chit on my B-15..."just in case..."
I took your advice about how to treat my oil soaked goatskin A-2 and tossed it in the dryer for a couple of hours. That dried it a bit and lightened the leather's color. It now it has an aged look. My goal for many years has been to have an A-2 that looked as "50 mission crush-ish" as the A-2 worn by Steve McQueen in the movie The Great Escape.
Again you have my thanks for US Authentic's approach to workmanship; providing authentic aviation gear at reasonable prices. Be assured that once I return home I will be ordering whatever new products you have.

Best Regards. God Bless America.

MA-1 By  Mel Hollier

I have received my first order of a MA-1 jacket and am extremely pleased with it. My wife likes it so much she wants to clam it to I'll have to order another.
